1. Overview

These terms of service ("terms") govern your use of the SwiftShip Previews desktop application and the website at swiftship.dev. By purchasing, downloading, or using SwiftShip Previews, you agree to these terms. SwiftShip Previews is operated under the jurisdiction of the United Arab Emirates.

2. Description of service

SwiftShip Previews is a desktop application for macOS that helps you generate App Store-compliant preview videos from iPhone and iPad screen recordings. The app runs entirely locally on your Mac. No video or audio content is transmitted, stored, or processed on external servers.

3. License

3.1 License grant

Upon purchase, you receive a perpetual, non-transferable license key that grants you the right to use SwiftShip Previews on one (1) Mac. The license key is bound to the first device on which it is activated.

3.2 Updates

Your license includes all software updates released within one (1) year from the date of purchase. After this period, the app will continue to function but will no longer receive updates unless you purchase a renewal.

3.3 Device binding

Each license key is bound to a single Mac upon first activation. To move your license to another Mac, deactivate it in Settings on your current Mac, then activate it on your new Mac. To use SwiftShip Previews on multiple Macs simultaneously, you will need to purchase additional licenses.

3.4 Restrictions

You may not resell, redistribute, sublicense, or share your license key. You may not reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the application. You may not use the application for any unlawful purpose.

4. Pricing and payment

SwiftShip Previews is sold as a one-time purchase. Prices are listed on swiftship.dev and may change at any time. Price changes do not affect existing license holders. All payments are processed securely through Lemon Squeezy.

5. Refund policy

We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee. If you are not satisfied with SwiftShip Previews, you may request a full refund within 14 days of purchase by emailing ayoub@swiftship.dev with your order details.

6. Privacy and data

Your privacy is fundamental to how SwiftShip Previews works. The app processes all video and audio content entirely on your Mac. No media is captured, uploaded, or transmitted. For full details, see our privacy policy.

7. App Store Connect compliance

SwiftShip Previews exports videos that match Apple's App Preview specifications (resolution, codec, bitrate, frame rate, color space). App Store Connect will accept the file format. However, Apple may still reject your preview video for content reasons under their App Review Guidelines. We are not responsible for content-based rejections.

8. Availability and platforms

SwiftShip Previews is currently available for macOS 13 (Ventura) or later. We do not guarantee compatibility with all hardware configurations.

9. Limitation of liability

SwiftShip Previews is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We are not liable for any damages arising from the use or inability to use the application, including but not limited to lost work, missed deadlines, or App Store submission rejections.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the United Arab Emirates.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the application constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
